Iron is a tough kid Ceres meets on the do'jo planet of Hunan IV. Iron is short and stocky, strong with native muscle from working on his family's farm on his home planet, New Republic of Texas, one of the Apostle Stars. Iron is constantly bragging on his older brother, who he nicknamed "Grizzly" Barnes. Ceres nicknamed him "Rusty" due to his red hair. Iron adopted "Peanut," a forest creature as his semi-tamed pet. It was when Ceres came to Iron's rescue from bullies that the boys made fast friends.
